Every season, we need new volunteer coaches for our recreational youth soccer league.  You do not need prior coaching experience.  The role of the CYSL Director of Coaches is to ensure our League coaches have the right tools and training to run productive and fun practices and have successful games.  We hold a coaches meeting near the first weekend in March to welcome everyone, and then will have 2 coaches clinics, with one specifically for U6 and U8 coaching.

As a coach, you'll be able to choose your practice night of the week.  We also welcome and recommend assistant coach volunteers for each team, especially the younger ones.

The sign-up process is done through the Registration links, look for Volunteer opportunities, and choose Head Coach or Assistant Coach.

We will discuss practice plans at the coaches meeting, and also provide a workbook of practice ideas accumulated over the years.

There are all kinds of soccer training videos on YouTube, just be sure the skills are appropriate for your team's age division and skill level.
